   About the role 
Mercy Food Service Rockhampton  is currently accepting applications looking for an Administration Assistant  to join the team in a permanent part time basis  (25hrs per week).
Salary range: $32.02-$37.35 hour plus 12% superannuation and   access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900   +   access to many staff benefits!   
What you’ll be doing 
The primary function of the role is to support the daily administrative operational requirements of Mercy Food Service with a specific focus on operational efficiency. It will proactively perform administrative tasks related to service delivery, business support, systems administration, and any other tasks as directed by the Team Leader. Actively partner with stakeholders and colleagues to support service and operational objectives. Perform typical administrative duties which may include but is not limited to:
General reception duties 
Filing and record maintenance 
Categorize invoices 
Data entry 
Coordinate management of incoming and outgoing mail 
Prepare and scan documentation 
Participate in the implementation of projects, undertaking training and education as necessary 
 
About you 
The successful applicant with outline the following:
Relevant qualifications or experience in Administration highly regarded. 
Intermediate level skills relating to the Microsoft package 
Experience or the ability to acquire skills using Health Information Systems and Food Management systems such as CBORD 
Display good attention to detail, with the ability to escalate problems and receive feedback to develop appropriate solutions 
Demonstrated ability to operate in a team environment using sound reasoning and strong listening skills 
Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal 
Sound administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise
